Support Halo3.Junk.ws

As a website dedicated to the Halo community, we offer our services free of charge and we do not require membership fees. In addition, we refuse to display advertisements, because we strongly feel that they are distracting and detract from the simplicity and quality of the site.

That having been said, we do accept donations from you, our members, and we appreciate any financial support you can provide.

What we use donations for

All donations are used to pay the bills for the servers that run Halo3.Junk.ws (rest assured--the administrators aren't going on pub crawls with the money you donate).

At the present time, we have two production servers in a Pittsburgh, PA datacenter that host the family of Junk.ws websites. You can read more about our infrastructure on the About Halo3.Junk.ws page.

We don't expect to completely fund the site from donations, but as we receive more donations, we are able to provide more advanced features and a higher quality of service.

The benefits of donating

The best benefit of donating is that you know that you have helped us in our mission to provide advanced statistical analasys and aggregation services to the community.

However, as a token of our thanks, we provide a few extra features to donors of the site:

  1. Donors are flagged as being donors to the site in their profile and next to their names in the forums.
  2. Donors are granted access to the signature designer and are able to design their own self-updating signatures.
  3. Donors are frequently the first to receive access to new or in-development features on the site.

If you do choose to donate, please note that it may take us a few days to process your donation before you are granted access to these "perks."

We accept most of our donations through PayPal because of its ubiquity, ease of use, and relatively low fees.

Because the transaction fees are higher for small amounts, we request that the smallest donation be considered $10.00. Please click the PayPal link here to donate.

When donating, please make sure to include one of your gamertags in the Message field so we know who is sending it and so we can ensure we thank you appropriately.

Donating via Other Methods

If you are unable to donate via PayPal for whatever reason, we are able to accept other forms of donations (namely checks, money orders, and cash).

Several people have expressed interest in helping out more directly by providing server resources. Due to the gargantuan size of our databases and the resource requirements that come with it, we are typically unable to accept such offers. If you have a dedicated server or a fast internet connection, please feel free to contact Indutiomarus to inquire about assisting in this manner.
